A warrant of execution is a method of enforcement which authorises the certificated bailiff to sell sufficient goods of tenants to pay for the debt that he is instructed to enforce, together with his fees for doing so. More often than not this refers to outstanding rent on a flat of house. If your tenants offer to repay the debt, for example by installments they can stop this happening by filling in form N245 at the local County Court. The warrant will be suspended as long as they keep up to date with the agreed payments.
