A pre and post tenancy clean is essential when maintaining your house or flat to a high standard. As a new tenant you should expect your property to have the following;
A clean and sanitised bathroom and kitchen with fittings properly de-scaled.
A thoroughly clean kitchen with grease-free appliances.
Carpets should be deep cleaned and wooden or hard flooring swept and washed.
All woodwork should be washed and all furniture polished.
Windows both inside and out should be sparkling clean.
No stains or holes in the walls.
Scuff marks removed from the walls etc...
The property must also be free from any smells such as animals or smoke.
